Improving the relation of local communities to the environment - through activities in the areas of environmental protection, sustainable development, strategic planning and local policy development, agricultural production and environmental tourism, education and counselling, natural resource management, waste management, energy efficiency, international cooperation and social ecology, nurturing solidarity, local democratic, inter-sectoral, inter-cultural dialogue and other values of civil society, especially in industrially underdeveloped areas, among the young and other endangered and marginalized groups.
