As a youth section of the United Nations Association of Hungary, the main goal of the International Diplomatic Student Association is to acquaint young people with the practice of diplomacy, principles and work of the UN and other international organizations, through lectures, interactive workshops, public debates, film screenings about human rights, and through conferences.

Its goal is to educate young people about sustainable development, critical thinking, debate and an international perspective through its educational programs. It has been active in Budapest since 2013, and in Szeged since February 2018, with a total of more than 200 members. The goal of the Szeged organization is to create a common platform for foreign and Hungarian students, where they can feel confident to speak of their origin and culture. In addition to the high level of professionalism, the Association considers that establishment of friendly relations, along with the promotion of the organization and Szeged among students, are of extreme importance. To this end, it organizes trips abroad, during which our students can participate in UN simulation conferences in the colours of Szeged.
